Harvest Howl (Fall Festival) is an annual carnival style event at Challenge School. It is the largest community builder of the year! The entire family, friends and neighbors are welcome to come and celebrate being together and having fun. Harvest Howl takes place on Saturday, October 3rd from 12:00 - 4:00.
We will have a large inflatable slide with a bounce house attached, an inflatable obstacle course, a buzzer beater basketball hoop, a velcro wall, a big splash dunk tank, spin art, 4 fun crafts, 8 carnival games with prizes, a pumpkin walk, a maze, temporary tattoos, face painting, concessions, an exciting juggling show, multiple photo props, the Discovery Den (a relaxed self directed play space), the middle school only area upstairs with games, and lots of friends to share it all with!
🍂 This year we are overflowing with fun! We are rolling out our "Horn of Plenty" Cornucopia theme for this year's Harvest Howl symbolizing the rich bounty of joy, learning, and community we share at the Challenge School.
No! Unlike previous years we are not asking our volunteers to buy entry this year. Just buy entry wristbands for your family. When you check in at “volunteer check-in”, which will be at the South entrance, you will get a volunteer sticker that shows that you are supposed to be there. You are welcome to enjoy the festival before or after your volunteer shift. Thank you for volunteering!
Harvest Howl entry is $12 per person. Every paid entry also receives 2 free activity tickets. We will have an early bird special, that will provide a $2 discount per person until Sept 28th. Buy Tickets Now!
We will also have advanced in person sales during parent / teacher conferences, where you can pay in cash or with a credit card.
Each paid entry gets two activity tickets for free. Additional activity tickets are sold in advance online as well as at front entrance sales on the day of the festival. There will be two stations selling additional activity tickets for the duration of the festival so you never need to run out. There are also plenty of activites at the event that don't require activity tickets to participate in. Buy Activity Tickets Now!
All of our carnival games, pumpkin walk, temporary tattoos, the velcro wall and face painting are 1 ticket each. Food items are between 1 - 3 tickets each. All other activities are free with entry.
We are using the same platform as last year for our Harvest Howl admission and activity tickets, which enables you to receive your tickets via email on your phone. After you purchase online, you will receive an email with a link to download your QR codes for each admission ticket and activity ticket bundle you purchased. The day of the event, we will scan your QR code and provide you with your wristband or stamp for entry and your ticket bundle for easy entry. All adults will need to sign a waiver upon entry, including any children in your care (one for family - very brief) OR you can pick up your waiver at parent/teacher conferences to have ready for entry the day of the event.
No, they are the only family members that have to be left at home.
We recommend bringing a folding chair for yourself and sunscreen. Concessions are available for purchase.
